Michael Apelian, CA, OMD

Dr. Michael Apelian Michael Apelian, CA, OMD, graduated as class valedictorian in 1984 from the California Acupuncture College in Los Angeles. After graduation, he extended his private acupressure therapy practice in Santa Monica to include all the techniques of Chinese medicine.

In 1988, he undertook a study program in China. Beginning the following year, with an instructor's certification from the State of California, he started conducting classes for the training of professionals and the public at learning institutions in the area. These subjects include a broad range of topics in Chinese medicine, herbal and nutritional medicine, and laboratory analysis for professionals.


Carol Lee Callen, MS, DOM, LAc

Dr. Carol Lee Callen Carol Lee Callen's interest in Chinese medicine began over 20 years ago with her study of the classic texts of Taoism. It continued through her studies of natural methods of health care and maintenance, including nutrition, herbology, qigong, hatha yoga, and the intuitive healing arts.

Carol is a graduate of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New mexico, where she maintains her Oriental medicine practice. Combining acupuncture, tuina and herbology with diet and lifestyle counseling, her specialties include women's health, addiction, pain management and optimal wellness. Carol takes an integrative approach to healing that considers the whole person -- mind, body and spirit.


Martha Lucas, PhD, LAc

Dr. Martha Lucas Martha Lucas, PhD, LAc received her diploma in traditional Chinese medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also undergone advanced training in pulse diagnosis with James Ramholz, OMD. She took Internships in traditional Chinese medicine and medical qi gong with Master/Dr. Zhengao Yao and Timothy McGee, LAc.

Currently, she practices traditional Chinese medicine at the Colorado Center of Traditional Medicine in Denver, She also teaches seminars in cosmetic acupuncture and pulse diagnosis. She has also served as a senior clinical instructor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Schoo of Medicine in Denver.


Noel Wright

Noel Wright Noel studied acupuncture at Tri State College of Acupuncture in New York City and graduated in 1999. Having worked in an integrative medical practice with psychiatrists, she developed a love for treating alongside other healthcare practitioners including doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists and chiropractors. Her unique style blends Mark Seem's Acupuncture Physical Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. After her marriage to her Canadian husband, Noel moved to Toronto. She teaches for the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, the University of Toronto and the Institute of Traditional Medicine. She was the principle acupuncturist in a Mutliple Sclerosis acupuncture research study with the University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition to teaching, Noel has a private practice.
